Celebrate spring in Sydney’s Centennial Parklands

There is no better time to be in Sydney then spring. With crisp morning air and sunny afternoons, enjoy the fresh air and spending time outdoors with family and friends is a must.

Centennial Parklands and Moore Park’s Entertainment Quarter boast a jam packed schedule of activities to suit everyone this season. We have picked our favourite things for you to do this spring below.

Spooky swamps filled with monsters

Trick-o-treat your way through the Park this Halloween and take part in fun, family friendly challenges.  We encourage everyone to dress up in their spookiest costumes for Swamp Monsters at Centennial Park!

Shakespeare stops in Sydney

After performing for a global audience of over 450,000 across the world, the full-scale working replica of the Globe will stop in Sydney at Moore Park’s Entertainment Quarter. This isn’t just a series of plays, this is a party – the audience is encouraged to interact with the actors just like the old days in the original Globe in London. Book your tickets here.

A civilized night of art and sunsets

Centennial Parklands and Waverly Woollahra Art School are coming together to host a series of art classes to help you improve your skills and capture the natural beauty of the Park at sunset. There are award winning artists, such as Tanya Baily, to instruct you along the way and there will be wine! Find out more about ParkArts here.

Get comfy and be entertained

Stretch out, kick back and watch a movie in bed with some popcorn and lollies – sounds like a regular Saturday night, right? Wrong! The Movin’ Bed at the Entertainment Quarter has a phenomenal line up of 45 movie nights with yummy food delivered straight to your bed. It doesn’t have to be a romantic evening for two either – the beds fit up to three adults!
