It’s back! Australia’s largest and most iconic outdoor cinema kicks off this Friday 1 December with an epic program of the biggest summer films right here in the heart of Centennial Park.
This unique cinema experience takes place in our picturesque Belvedere Amphitheatre and is an iconic event loved by tens of thousands of Sydneysiders and visitors every year.
This season’s program features fan favourites such as Love Actually and Back to the Future but this year Moonlight Cinema is also bringing a HUGE selection of advanced screenings and we’re excited!

Don’t forget Moonlight Cinema is picnic and dog-friendly so pack a picnic basket, rug and the pooch, and come and enjoy a night under the stars. It really is magical to watch the sunset over the Park while you lay on your beanbag or rug! If you don’t have time to pack a picnic there are food options available onsite and you can purchase drinks from a licensed bar.
