3 things to do for Father’s Day in Centennial Parklands this weekend

Centennial Parklands never fails to deliver fun and unconventional ways to spoil your favourite man on Father's Day. With Dad's Day just around the corner on the 2 September, check out this list of entertaining experiences you can share together.

Discover the Father’s Day Festival

For the first year, the Blak Markets and IMF Warrior Run will come together for a fun, family day out at Centennial Park – the inaugural Father’s Day Festival.

Get active for a good cause with the IMF Father’s Day Warrior Run, a special event that actively promotes social change in support of the Indigenous Marathon Project, with a big focus on celebrating the strong 'warriors' in our communities. It offers a unique cultural experience too, with traditional music and entertainment for the family.

After joining the run in the morning, explore the immersive Blak Markets and get some delicious foods. Try bushfood fresh from the BBQ, join an artist workshop to learn traditional arts, watch a warrior dance, buy some stunning handmade products and so much more.

Go for a golf and roast

Test out your swing and enjoy some friendly competition with dad on the newly developed Driving Range at Moore Park Golf, or enjoy tee time with 8 holes and a cart for Father's Day teeing off from 6.00 am - 7.30 am. After you’ve worked up an appetite, get into the clubhouse restaurant for a roast lunch with all the trimmings!

If its food you’re after, grab a take-away sausage sizzle or brekkie roll from the Cenntennial Homestead kiosk - The Pantry - or make a booking at the restaurant - The Kitchen - and enjoy some family-time with a sumptuous steak and barbecue-inspired lunch menu. Foodies will love this one!

Discover the Dad’s Day discounts at the Entertainment Quarter

The Entertainment Quarter at Moore Park is filled with activities for you and the important man in your life to enjoy. This weekend there are a range of drinks and meal discounts to ensure your old man has the best day. Find out more here.
