Observing Plant Growth
Hypothesis:
Plants will grow towards sunlight.
Method:
Plant some seeds in 2 separate paper cups of soil – make sure the cups have holes in the base and a tray to sit in to catch the water.
Leave one cup in full sunlight and put the other in a shoebox. Cut a hole in the top of the box at one end so sunlight can get through. Place the plant in the box at the opposite end to the hole.
Results:
What happens? Does the seedling in the box still grow towards the sun?
