Discover classrooms in a bush setting in the heart of Sydney!

Centennial Parklands offers outdoor learning programs for people and groups of all ages, which focus on environmental education, sustainability, fieldwork, bushcraft and developing a life-long connection to nature.

Safeguarding the health and safety of our visitors and staff is core to what we do at Centennial Parklands. We are closely monitoring and responding to Government health advice in this rapidly changing environment and putting in place measures to protect our community during these challenging times.

Connecting curriculum to nature

Our learning programs encourage problem solving, critical and creative thinking, team work and physical challenge in a ‘bush classroom’ setting. Children will explore the environment through hands-on activities and each excursion can be tailored to meet individual group’s needs.

Our programs cover key learning areas such as science, geography, education for sustainability, creative arts and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures.

Programs can be booked as a one off excursion or can be a multi-visit program for students from early years foundation through to primary and secondary, university and other tertiary institutions, vacation care groups, youth organisations and adult education groups.

Connect your students with the Australian bush by enrolling them into one of our education and excursion programs and connect curriculum with nature.
