Bush School (8 June - 6 July) - 5 week program

Climb trees, build cubbies, explore the great outdoors, make mud pies, and discover strange bugs. Get children back to nature and experience all of its benefits. Led by our expert team of education rangers, Bush School will inspire love for the natural world through games, bushcraft activities, stories and more. Bush School is a unique five week nature play program for children aged 2.5 - 5 years.

Times: 9.30 am - 11.30 am
Price: Term bookings only - 5 sessions for $150 (1 child and 1 adult)
Meeting Point/Venue: Fearnley Grounds off Grand Drive, Centennial Park. Meet outside the cafe.

  • Cancellation Policy: Once tickets are purchased no refunds, exchanges or credits will be given, unless the event is cancelled by the Parklands due to dangerous weather conditions.

Special notes

  • The session is designed to run for 10 weeks, however we have split the program into two separate sessions here so parents have the option to attend the 5 week session only.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Bush School is an outdoor program and will take place in all-weather except for high winds. Participants (adults and children) are expected to dress for the outdoors, including bringing wet weather gear, a hat, sturdy enclosed shoes and waterproof footwear when required.
  • Parents will also have the opportunity to receive training and advice on how to nurture and mentor their own nature child.
  • Participants enroll for the entire five week program.
