The Craft Drinks Market is a unique specialty market featuring small, independent makers of beer, wine, gin, cider, and other alcoholic beverages, as well as some non-alcoholic equivalents.
Hear origin stories and behind-the-scenes talks direct from the drink makers, take part in masterclasses, and witness the artistry of cocktail creation. There are plenty of food offerings, family-friendly drinks, and lifestyle stalls as well.
Gin-maker, chocolate lover, and visionary, Lindsay Silcox is the genius behind the Craft Drinks Market concept. Aware that Australian beer, wine, spirit, and cider producers were not as recognised or popular among consumers as they deserved to be, he took a cue from the many specialty markets serving bespoke producers and decided a craft drinks market was the obvious solution. Each month, the market will showcase boutique distillers, brewers and wineries from around the country. Attendees will be among the first to sample brand new products.
Held on the 2nd Sunday of each month, 10:30am – 5:30pm under the market canopy at EQ. There’s a $10 entry fee but you’ll get a $5 discount on your first purchase.* (*Minimum spend may apply.)
The Craft Drinks Market makes its debut on December 8 with a Christmas theme and plenty of festive spirit! The line-up for the inaugural market includes: Manly Spirits, Brix Distillers, Batch Brewing, Otter Craft Distilling, Brookies (Cape Byron Distillery), Treat Dreams (Boozy Chocolate), Ascella Wines, and ALTD Spirits (non-alcoholic).
