This September, Urban Winery Sydney invites chef Simmone Logue from the Simmone Logue Double Bay Café and Simmone Logue Fine Food Catering Company, to host the Chef X Winemaker Long Lunch alongside Head Winemaker Alex Retief, founder of the A.Retief wine label and Australia’s first true urban winery.
Urban Winery Sydney is the only place in the city where you can dine with your guests amongst barrels producing our latest vintage. Our wines are made on-site, using grapes from three contract vineyards in southern New South Wales from Tumbarumba, Gundagai and the Hilltops.
Similarly, the delicious four-course menu will focus on a range of local, seasonal produce with dishes such as slow roasted lamb shoulder and orange and ricotta torte with poached blood orange and honeyed labneh.
Relish in a guided tour of Australia’s first true urban winery, followed by a four-course meal paired with a comprehensive tasting of the A.Retief label.
