Volunteering is one of the life bloods of Centennial Parklands. Through our volunteer bushcare programs, we are able to achieve and complete far more than could be achieved otherwise – resulting in environmental and social benefits to the whole community.
Volunteer programs are ON HOLD due to COVID restrictions - please continue to register your interest for future involvement in the specific programs listed below.
Volunteers contribute over 8000 hours of work across 15 different programs.
In this section you will find information about community and partnership volunteering at Centennial Parklands, including volunteering opportunities, all the latest news from our volunteer teams and some of the great contributions they make to the Parklands and much, much more.
A number of the ongoing volunteer programs across Centennial Parklands are listed below. All participants must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
In addition to programs that we coordinate, we have a number of ongoing partnership programs with third party organisations:
- Birds Australia
- Tribal Warrior Aboriginal Corporation
- Clean Up Australia Day
- Sydney Wildlife Rescue
