Plants

The Parklands' gardens are cared for by Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust’s team of horticulturists, whose plantings provide visitors with a year-round display of native and exotic plants.

What plants will I see when I visit?

The Parklands has beautiful formal plantings which include The Rose Garden, Frog Hollow and Column Garden in Centennial Park.

If you’re more in the mood for a casual stroll and are looking for native plants, the Australian Bluebell may be found throughout the Parklands, there are Kangaroo Paws at Centennial Square near Fly-casting Pond and Gymea Lilies may be found at the pedestrian and vehicle entrances to Centennial Park and Moore Park.

The gardens are cared for by the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust’s team of horticulturists, who have planted to provide visitors with a year-round display of native and exotic plants.
