Plants

The Parklands' gardens are cared for by Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust’s team of horticulturists, whose plantings provide visitors with a year-round display of native and exotic plants.

What plants will I see when I visit?

The Parklands has beautiful formal plantings which include The Rose Garden, Frog Hollow and Column Garden in Centennial Park.

If you’re more in the mood for a casual stroll and are looking for native plants, the Australian Bluebell may be found throughout the Parklands, there are Kangaroo Paws at Centennial Square near Fly-casting Pond and Gymea Lilies may be found at the pedestrian and vehicle entrances to Centennial Park and Moore Park.
