The Ranger’s Residence at Centennial Park

The Ranger’s Residence is a unique 19th Century Cottage in the European Arts and Crafts style.
A beautifully restored heritage building, this fully self-contained three bedroom home is perfect for families, groups, bridal parties and special events.
Designed by the NSW Government Architect Walter Vernon in 1898, the building was used continuously as accommodation for Park staff and Rangers until 2008. In September 2010 the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust completed a refurbishment of the Ranger’s Residence to showcase decorative craftmanship.

The Superintendent’s Residence at Centennial Park

The Superintendent’s Residence, a 19th Century colonial estate, features wide hallways, parlour, dining room, four gracious and generous bedrooms each with king size beds, a separate study, kitchen, two bathrooms and views across Centennial Park.
As well as being the home of the Park’s Superintendents over the years, it has also housed gardeners, foremen, and even the Park’s administration office. Comprehensive conservation works were undertaken at the Residence in 2001, revealing many beautiful examples of the quality of the original workmanship in this heritage-listed building.
The historic Superintendent’s Residence is a unique and wonderful home away from home for families and groups to stay the night or weekend, nestled inside Sydney’s iconic and national heritage listed Centennial Park.
