So-named for the nearby Bat and Ball Hotel, Moore Park’s Bat and Ball Field is one of two dedicated AFL fields in Centennial Parklands.
The field is located on Moore Park’s western edge, adjacent to the Moore Park tennis courts and Moore Park Golf Course, with easy access via Cleveland Street. There is a free BBQ and amenities nearby if you’d like to relax with your family and friends after the game.
Bat and Ball Field amenities upgrade - temporary change rooms and storage
Greater Sydney Parklands has installed two temporary change rooms while planning continues for a permanent facility.
These are located close to the existing toilet block, adjacent to temporary storage containers. The change rooms are internally lit and available during field bookings.
The Moore Park Master Plan 2040 identifies the need to upgrade the current facilities at Bat and Ball Field to meet community needs and to support the increased number of girls and women participating in sport.
