Are you looking for a venue to host your school's community service programs? Join Centennial Parklands in making a difference.
At Centennial Parklands, we believe in the power of community and the profound impact that nature can have on our wellbeing. Our Community Service Volunteering Program offers schools and community organisations a unique opportunity to contribute to the environment, enhance school dynamics, and foster a sense of purpose among participants.
Your school can contribute by signing up to a single session or a multi-day program of volunteering working alongside experienced educators learning not just the skills associated with each day’s work, but also the environmental and social history of the parklands and the value of their contributions.
Your session at Centennial Parklands is 4 hours long, 3 hours of volunteering including training, a site induction and clean up, and an environmental walk with your educator exploring the parklands. You may also add value to a school excursion with a 2 hour volunteering session.
Programs are flexible and can be designed to specifically address the schools' goals for service learning, community service and The Duke of Edinburgh and other volunteering commitments.
