The submission of this form is a formal request for an excursion booking at Centennial Parklands on the date/s and time/s specified. Once we receive your form we will allocate your booking based off of our availability and will respond with a booking confirmation document.

Koori Kinnections (Stage 4,5 & 6)

Engage your secondary school students in meaningful learning experiences with Koori Kinnections! Our interactive programs are designed to deepen students' understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and contributions.

Through hands-on workshops, storytelling, and cultural activities, students explore topics linking to sustainability, traditional practices, First Nations innovations, and truth-telling about Australia’s history. Our programs align with the Australian Curriculum and foster respect, inclusivity and a genuine connection to Country.

Each two hour program includes three activities offering experiences for first timers and new experiences for return visits.

Activities can include:

  • Walks on Country
  • Traditional Storytelling
  • Dance
  • Art and Traditional Crafts on Country
  • Bush Foods
  • Tradtional Ecological Knowledge and
  • Cultural Practices

This program is run by our service provider Koori Kinnections and is subject to availability.

The Education Access Pass Program covers all program and transport costs for schools with an FOEI higher than 125 and community organisations that work with groups in need. 

Please contact us directly with the name of the program and your group size and we can help you organise a free program.

This program is funded through the Legacy Fund of the Centennial Parklands Foundation.
