Centennial Parklands' hands-on school excursion programs are all about striking a balance between curriculum based learning and play based activities, aiding students to develop confidence and appreciation of being in and around nature.
All of our primary programs link to the new national curriculum and the NSW Board of Studies HSIE syllabus. Each session is a mixture of hands-on activity, games and reflective practice. Resources and equipment are specific to each age group and are designed to ensure that all learning styles are catered for.
Centennial Parklands field trip sessions are held for two and a half hours or can be extended to a full day for a more in-depth experience.
