Have you ever wanted to know what really happened to the Jolly Swagman?
Step back to the 1890s in this lively, interactive theatre experience for children and families. Follow Maggie and her sweetheart Sam as they navigate life, love and hardship in a time before phones and the internet, staying connected only through handwritten letters.
Meet Sam on the road as a travelling swagman searching for work across Australia, sharing bush humour, songs and stories along the way. Packed with audience participation, dancing, jokes and familiar tunes including Waltzing Matilda, this joyful production brings Australian history to life with heart, laughter and adventure.
