Safeguarding the health and safety of our visitors and staff is core to what we do at Centennial Parklands. We are closely monitoring and responding to Government health advice in this rapidly changing environment and putting in place measures to protect our community during these challenging times.
Our Parklands continue to remain open to the public at this time, unless advised otherwise. However, we urge visitors to ensure they comply with all social distancing requirements in line with the latest NSW Health advice. COVID-19 Update 30 December 2020
Following NSW Health restrictions for Greater Sydney, from 31 December 2020 no more than 30 people can gather outside in a public place including for New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Please remember social distancing and other COVID-19 safety guidelines.
NSW Health COVID-19 Notification 26 December 2020
NSW Health has advised that a person with COVID-19 attended The Ian Potter Children's Wild Play Garden in Centennial Park from 10 – 11:15am on Tuesday December 22. Others in the Garden at that time may have had casual contact with the infection. Please look out for symptoms of COVID-19 until January 5. If you develop symptoms, please isolate immediately and get tested.
The Ian Potter Children's Wild Play Garden and adjacent Federation Square have been deep cleaned following the alert and will re-open on Sunday, December 27. Thank you.
