Kippax Community Amenities

Kippax Lake in Moore Park has a long and rich history. Originally a swamp, this area now serves the community as an important greenspace for leisure and recreational activities.

Everyday visitors can be seen enjoying the tree-lined walking paths, sightings of the many aquatic birds that live there and participating in actives taking place on the multi-use lawns.

With funding from Transport for NSW, construction of new amenities will begin from October 2019 with an expected finish date of March 2020. The public facilities will include toilets, bubblers and a wash trough.

This much needed upgrade will also kick start the revitalisation of Moore Park East for the community which was identified in the Moore Park Master Plan 2040.

During construction we ask that visitors take care in the area and observe the signage in place. For additional details about the new amenities block please refer to information below or contact the project managers at Transport for NSW here.
