Tree works to remove a failing tree will be carried out near Paddington Gates on Wednesday 17 February 2021.
The Acacia binervia has suffered a large limb failure resulting in loss of crown/wounding from which it would not be able to recover. A replacement tree has been sourced and replanting will be organised with as little time between removal and planting as possible.
Works with some associated noise will start from 7am to 3pm. Paddington Gates remain open however traffic movements may be slowed. Pedestrian access on the eastern side of Parkes Drive will be closed while works are underway.
