Grand Drive tree maintenance & temporary changes to traffic conditions – August 2024
 
Centennial Parklands’ arboriculture team will be undertaking annual tree maintenance on Grand Drive beginning on Tuesday 13 August 2024.
 
Work will begin at Equestrian Grounds, opposite Ash Paddock, and will be carried out from 9am to 3pm (outside of peak traffic periods) between Tuesday and Friday.
 
During this time there will be minor changes to traffic conditions, which will involve the merging of cars into the bicycle lane, resulting in a temporary decrease in the number of parking spots available within the area being worked on.
 
Traffic Controllers will facilitate vehicle flow during this period, with signage in place to alert drivers to the changed traffic conditions.
 
It is anticipated that the work will be completed between 1-2 weeks, weather pending.
