Film Shoot in Centennial Parklands (14 January – 12 February 2021)

Published on 23 Dec 2020

Centennial Parklands is one of the most sought-after public filming locations in Sydney. We support the NSW Government’s Film Friendly Policy and we acknowledge the economic and social benefits of local film projects, including the support it provides the Australian film industry.

Between 14 January and 12 February 2021, a film production will occupy part of the Brazilian Fields, Centennial Park. Filming activity will take place on weekdays only between 6.00 am and 7.00 pm to minimise disruption to park visitors.

On 1 and 8 February, there will be increased traffic and limited parking available on Parkes Drive and Dickens Drive near Brazilian Fields, and on Grand Drive near Willow Pond and Duck Pond. Stop & go traffic management will take place intermittently on Parkes Drive and on Dickens Drive near Brazilian Fields. Loch Avenue will be closed between Dickens Drive and Grand Drive.

Due to the complex nature of the film set and for the safety of both the crew and the general public, a temporary fence will be erected around the perimeter of the film site.

There will be minimal, low level sound impacts on weekdays during the set construction. During filming, there will be some sound and special effects used on the film set. Please keep your dog under effective control when walking around the film set.
