The Sydney Running Festival is the highest profile legacy event following the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
It incorporates four separate events: The Marathon (through Centennial Park and Moore Park), Half Marathon, 10 kilometre Bridge Run and 3.5 kilometre Family Fun Run.
Gate Closures
All Centennial Park gates will be closed until approximately 11 am.
Road Closures
All roads in Centennial Parklands will be closed until approximately 11 am.
External road closures
Extensive road closures and special event clearways will be in place across the Sydney CBD.
Specific road closures will be in place around Centennial Park and Moore Park as follows:
Moore Park: 5.30 am to 11.00 am

Driver Avenue between Moore Park Road and Lang Road

Lang Road between Moore Park Road and Mitchell Street

Lang Road between Errol Flynn Blvd and Anzac Parade

Moore Park Road between Oxford Street and Anzac Parade (westbound)

Moore Park Road between Anzac Parade and Greens Road (eastbound)

South Dowling Street between Oxford Street and Flinders Street (southbound)

South Dowling Street between Fitzroy Street and Flinders Street (northbound)
Notes:

Lang Road will remain open to traffic in both directions until 6.30 am

Access to Driver Avenue via Moore Park Rd or Lang Rd will reopen at approx 10.30 am.

Access to the Entertainment Quarter car park is via Oxford Street, Oatley Road, Moore Park Road eastbound and Cook Road. No access from Anzac Parade.
Moore Park: 7.00 am to 9 am
Notes:
The Eastern Distributor off ramp to Anzac Parade (southbound) will remain open at all times during the event.
Moore Park: 7.30 am to 10.00 am

Notes:
Robertson Road at Lang Road will be a managed crossing point during the event and will be fully closed between 7:30am and 10am while the bulk of runners cross Robertson Road.
