A former high-school teacher and event manager with a passion for the outdoors, Christian has been able to combine his two professional interests here at Greater Sydney Parklands.
Having grown up in Germany, he is well acquainted with the model of forest schools and outdoor education. Together with his team of experienced outdoor educators, he has been creating and running nature play programs that focus on Australian culture and environment since 2017.
His education and community programs have a strong focus on connecting park visitors to the Australian environment and culture. Collaborating with First Nation elders and artists, he ensures that respect and acknowledgment of Aboriginal culture and knowledge is part of all projects and programs in Greater Sydney Parklands.
