Aboriginal Strategy
The committee received a presentation about the Aboriginal Strategy for the Parklands.
Entertainment Quarter
The committee was briefed on the Entertainment Quarter unsolicited proposal.
The proposed is multi-staged and managed by DPC.
Assets, parking and Centennial Homestead update
The committee was given an update on assets and parking at the Parklands.
The committee was also given an update on the Centennial Homestead tender.
Management of personal trainers
The committee was briefed on a new personal trainer management plan.

COVID-19 impacts on Parklands
The committee was briefed on the impacts of COVID-19 on the Parklands, including car-free weekends, cyclist issues and the impact of no events or education programs.
PlayOn Group termination of lease
The committee was briefed on the Hordern Pavilion and Royal Hall of Industries following termination of the PlayOn Group lease by the Trust.
Update on Regulations remake
The committee was briefed on the process of updating the Parklands Regulations.
Nature Education and Discovery Space – project update
The committee was provided an update on the proposed new structures in the Nature Education and Discovery Space.
Kensington Pond Bridge – project update
The committee was provided an update on the project and advised the Trust is delivering the project with TfNSW.

Establishment of the Greater Sydney Parklands
The committee was given an update on changes to the Botanic Gardens Centennial Parklands agency and the establishment of the new Greater Sydney Parklands agency.
Personal trainers and group fitness trainers policy
The committee was advised the Parklands are looking to introduce a policy and permit for personal trainers and briefed on timelines.
Upcoming infrastructure plans
The committee was briefed on upcoming infrastructure plans.
Upcoming major events and other updates
The Trust is working with Playbill Venues at the Royal Hall of Industries on the upcoming Van Gogh exhibition, working within social distancing parameters due to COVID-19.
