The Centennial Parklands’ Arboriculture team will be undertaking tree works in the south west precinct of Centennial Park from Friday 9 August.
Works will take place over a week from 7.00 am to remove several dead and hazardous trees in the area. The identified trees are mostly
Pinus pinaster which are very susceptible to drought stress and are being removed for public safety reasons.
Pedestrian access will be maintained in the area and traffic control will be in place for the duration of works.
