Tree works due to weather conditions (February - March)

Centennial Parklands will be undertaking tree works to remove trees that have been impacted by recent weather conditions. 

Tree species: Erythrina x sykesii (Coral tree)
Location: Darley Road slopes, near corner of Grand Drive and Musgrave Ave 
Date of removal: Wednesday 19th February 2020. Work will start from 7am until completed.
Traffic control will be in place on Grand Drive to merge cyclists into car lane around crane and work site.

Tree species: Ficus rubiginosa (Port Jackson fig)
Location: Darley Road fence line, Musgrave precinct, opposite Clovelly Road 
Date of removal: Updated to Tuesday 10 March 2020. Work will start from 7am until completed. Musgrave Avenue will be closed for vehicle access but traffic control will be in place throughout the day to allow safe egress for pedestrians and cyclists. Traffic control will also be in place throughout the day on Darley Road and for pedestrians to egress safely. 

Tree species: 2x Erythrina x sykesii (Coral tree)
Location: Northern fence line of Queens Park 
Date of removal: Tuesday 3rd March 2020. Work will start from 7am until completed.
There should be minimal impact to passers-by.

Tree species: Pinus pinaster (Maritime pine)
Location: York Road fence line
Date of removal: Wednesday 4th March 2020.
Work will start from 7am and take one day to complete. There should be minimal impact to passers-by.
