Tree planting near Randwick Gate (25 February - 28 February)

Published on 13 Feb 2020

As part of a four-year plan, and with funding support from Transport for NSW, the arborists at Centennial Parklands have scheduled eight new trees to be planted near Randwick Gates.

Eight large silver-blue Bismarck palms will be introduced into the collection near Randwick Gates to create an appealing entrance for visitors and with the guidance of the Tree Master Plan.

In order to make room for the eight new palms and to upgrade the area, some existing palms will be removed.

Visitors should exercise caution when in the area while works are complete from 25 February to 28 February 2020.
