Located next to the Ian Potter Children's Wild Play Garden, this picnic site is perfect for children's parties and family gatherings.
Set-up the party table under the shady fig trees and let the kids enjoy the WILD PLAY features: water play, bamboo forest, banksia tunnels and the Park’s first treehouse!
Please note that children should always be supervised when inside the Wild Play Garden.
Does the Garden ever close?
The Ian Potter Children’s WILD PLAY Garden will take an annual break every August.
During this time our Garden’s plants will be taking a rest and we will be adding an additional 400 new plants before we reopen in spring. The Wild Play Garden picnic site will not be taking bookings during this time.
Closure dates from 1 August to 31 August 2019.
