Corporate Volunteering

Centennial Parklands’ Corporate Volunteer Program provides an excellent opportunity for your organisation to support your employees’ physical and mental health and wellbeing, respond to CSR objectives, and enhance your cultural awareness training.

Studies show that volunteering can release endorphins that give a “feel good factor”, thereby  improving physical and mental health. The exposure to green space is also well-known for its positive impact on wellbeing – and both are key benefits you can expect from your team’s corporate volunteering experience here at Centennial Parklands.

If your organisation has environmental objectives, our Conservation and Regeneration program can provide a direct contribution to your conservation goals, with the chance to work with our team on bush regeneration projects to restore, enhance and protect the Parklands’ environment.

If your team is, however looking to increase your cultural awareness training, our Cultural Engagement and Conservation program offers an opportunity to learn from our First Nations Education Officer about our connection to Country, including the plants and animals in the area, and the critically endangered Eastern Suburbs Banksia Scrub (ESBS) area that you’ll be working on.

Your help in the conservation of these protected spaces includes: removing weeds, mulching, replanting with native species, as well as watering new or establishing plants.

Your Valued Contribution

Our corporate volunteering fees are priced as a per person fee, depending on the program and are paid as a donation to Centennial Parklands Foundation, prior to the volunteer session.

The Foundation is an independent charitable organisation established to raise funds and awareness to support and enhance the three magnificent parks of Centennial Parklands.
