Does your dog need a waggin’ workout?

The holidays are a popular time to add a furry friend to the family but what happens when they won’t stop eating your shoes? Bring them along to one of our four brand new poochie programs to help introduce your bestie to the world of agility, obedience and fitness.

Musical Dog Obedience

This is an obedience class with a twist and spin. Based on the doggie sport of Canine Freestyle (yes that is a thing!) and Heelwork to Music, people and their dogs perform obedience skills and tricks to music. It’s heaps of fun for both people and dogs, but it’s also a great way to practice obedience skills in a small group of 6 dogs per class. Make sure to check out the requirements and book here.

Foundation Agility Course

Add some fast-paced fun to your dog’s life by learning the sport of dog agility. The Agility 1 class is a fantastic way to build a strong bond with your dog and give them the street cred they deserve. This on-leash training course focuses on building a positive working relationship between you and your dog with the goal of building confidence and success for dogs and people.

Dog Tricks & Games Class

Don’t let the name fool you, this games class is not for dogs that know how to play chess. It’s suitable for all experience levels and can be modified to make them more or less difficult. The emphasis is on having fun while teaching valuable skills like how to gain your dog’s attention, communicate clearly, and deal with mistakes while learning tricks like how to read your dog and understand it’s behaviour.

Dog Fitness Workouts

Assuming that your dog had his fair share of table scraps over Christmas, it might be time to book him into doggy fitness. The Waggin’ Workout is a high energy fitness workout and obedience training sessions for those pups that need a workout too. This is a great class for that Type-A dog in your life that never seems to get bored or the anxious pups that need to burn off steam. Whatever the reason (we aren’t judging!), this class is sure to build a great bond between the two of you before heading home for a well-deserved nap.
