Secondary (Stage 4 - 6)

Centennial Parklands' secondary programs offer students the opportunity to participate in hands-on fieldwork, collecting data to support their learning back in the classroom.

Students use data collecting field equipment such as hygrometers, anemometers and electrical conductivity metres to collect information In the Parklands environment. The data they collect will assist them to form an environmental opinion of an urban open space and inform their project and assessment work in the classroom.

Our secondary programs run for four hours plus a 30-minute lunch break to include an in-depth study of the topics and comprehensive data collection.

Please note that our Stage 4 geography program, Wetlands Ecosystem, is delivered as a two hour program.
