Bespoke training

The Parklands' trainers are subject matter experts in nature pedagogy and have undertaken training that is nationally and internationally recognised.

The Parklands' team of educators offer a bespoke training service and are skilled in environmental education, bush craft, bush connections, forest schools and bush therapy.

Bespoke training can be delivered at Centennial Park in Sydney's eastern suburbs or at a site of your choice. Programs can take place over a half day, full day or multiple days.

Choose from the following content:

  • Introduction to Nature Pedagogy

  • The importance of challenge and adventure in outdoor learning (risk assessing and risk benefit)

  • Understanding and assessing outdoor learning spaces

  • Elemental play (fire, earth, water, air)

  • Enabling creativity and imagination in the outdoors

  • Nature games

  • Eco-art

  • Mapping and tracking

  • Designing nature play spaces – including the Ian Potter Children’s WILD PLAY Garden.
