Essential stormwater system repairs will be carried out in Centennial Park near Robertson Road.
Access to the stormwater pit is within the chicane at the entry to the Horse Track and in order to facilitate the works, the right side of the chicane (on entering) will be closed and fenced off.
Work hours will be 7:00 am to 5:00 pm each day and will be as follows:.

Wednesday 11 March will be lower impact while material is excavated from the stormwater line access pit and will include movement of machinery. Contractors will be working within the fenced area.

Thursday 12 March will be noisy as contractors reline stormwater pipes and will include movement of machinery – contractors will cease work when horses approach the work site and will have a dedicated spotter on duty.
Horses may still access the Horse Track however riders and handlers should exercise caution.
Visitors must follow the directive of traffic control and should be prepared for short delays when approaching the area.
