Major Film Shoot in Centennial Parklands (15 January to 12 February 2020)

Centennial Parklands is one of the most sought after public filming locations in Sydney. We support the NSW Government’s Film Friendly Policy and we acknowledge the economic and social benefits of local film projects, including the support it provides the Australian film industry.

Freelance Restorations will film in three locations across Centennial Park between 15 January and 12 February 2020.
 
Filming activity will take place on weekdays only between 6.00 am and 7.00 pm. There will be up to 150 crew and 100 extras on site on filming days.

Pine Grove

  • Site occupied from 15 to 24 January 2020

  • Filming days: Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 January

  •  Increased traffic and limited parking available on Dickens Drive and Grand Drive near Pine Grove on filming days

  • Road closure: Loch Ave South will be closed on filming days.

South West Paddock

  • Site occupied from 21 January to 12 February 2020

  • Filming day: Wednesday 5 February

  • Increased traffic and limited parking available on Grand Drive near McKay Fields and  on Martin Road (pending City of Sydney’s approval).

  • Stop & Go traffic management will take place on Grand Drive near South West Paddock including on the cycle lane on filming day.

  • A fenced site will occupy a section of the South West Paddock which is part of a dog off-leash area. 

Loch Avenue South

  • Site occupied from 28 to 31 January 2020

  • Filming days: Wednesday 29, Thursday 30 and Friday 31 January

  • Increased traffic and limited parking available on Dickens Drive and Grand Drive near Pine Grove on filming days.

  • Road closure: Loch Ave South will be closed on filming days.

  • The amenity block will remain open to the public.
