Mother's Day Quest

A brand new activity for the whole family to enjoy!

Do something different this Mother’s Day and take mum on a specially selected nature trail through Centennial Park. Use the map to spot the clues and learn interesting facts about the plants and animals that call Centennial Park home. At the conclusion of the trail create a unique gift to take home and give mum for Mother’s Day.

If you enjoy being outdoors, learning about nature and observing native animals in their natural habitat then this is the program for you. The walk will lead you alongside Lachlan Swamp, a unique habitat to one of Sydney’s largest flying-fox colonies, as well as brush-tailed possums, long-finned eels and a variety of bird life.

The trail is stroller friendly and can be completed with the entire family. Make a day of it with a packed picnic lunch easily pre-ordered from the Centennial Homestead.

The Volunteer Plant Sale will also be taking place at the same location on the day, so you can pick up a little piece of the park on your way home!
