Bush Life

Explore Aboriginal architectural engineering using natural materials with outstanding eco-credentials.

Students will construct a shelter using natural materials from the local environment.

Embark on an journey to discover the Art of the worlds oldest and continuing culture, students will explore the connection of art to story telling, dance and nature. Students will investigate the traditional styles, symbols, materials and tools of Aboriginal art around Australia. They will use Indigenous art and cultural objects as a stimulus for creating their own design.

To make up a full day program which includes lunch supervision, simply book the corresponding morning or afternoon activity on the same day.(Bush Food Hunt - morning and Bush Life - afternoon)

Age: 5 - 12 years
