Swans nesting in Centennial Parklands

Winter is, despite what many may think, a very active time in Centennial Parklands - particularly for our native wildlife population.
Centennial Parklands Rangers have reported swans nesting in Kippax Lake.
The Rangers have warned, however, that park visitors should take care if near the swans. Swans become very territorial and protective of their nesting grounds and their young. Visitors should not approach these swans at this time.
