Centennial Parklands Plan of Management
The draft Plan of Management for Centennial Parklands is being updated and public comment is now invited. The draft Plan is on public exhibition from Monday 29 August 2005. Submissions will be accepted until the end of the exhibition period on Wednesday 28 September 2005.
The Plan of Management is the principal document guiding the planning and management of all of the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trusts lands including Centennial Park, Moore Park, Queens Park, the York Road bushland remnant and the former Moore Park Showground.
Director and Chief Executive of Centennial Parklands Steve Corbett says, ¡§This is a great opportunity for the community to be involved in planning for the future of the Parklands. We welcome feedback on the draft Plan.¡¨
A public information day will be held from 12.00 pm ¡V 3.00 pm on Sunday 4 September 2005 near the Shelter Pavilion in Parkes Drive, Centennial Park. During the exhibition period, the draft Plan can also be viewed at:
