Training in the Parklands for City2Surf? Support us to support you

2 July 2009

City2Surf 2009 - Charity ChallengeHave you registered for the annual City2Surf on Sunday 9 August? Are you considering registering?

Perhaps you're using Centennial Parklands to train for the event?

If so, then support us to support you by nominating the Centennial Parklands Foundation as your charity when you register (register online go to http://www.city2surf.com.au/).

One of the core aspects of this event is that every participant is encouraged to fundraise online for a cause they care about. Once a participant has registered for the event, they can build their own online fundraising page and in minutes send it to friends, family and work colleagues seeking donations. It is free and easy.

So if you or someone you know is taking part in the City2Surf we would be grateful if you would also consider fundraising for the Centennial Parklands Foundation.

To register us as your charity of choice

Once registered, you will be prompted to create a fundraising page; simply follow the instructions.

Please click on the link below to see what a fundraising page looks like:
http://www.everydayhero.com.au/help/fundraising_page_example_in_order_of_building_page

Or join the Foundation team!

We will provide you with plenty of encouragement and a Foundation tshirt to wear on the day.

So if you are looking for a challenge to keep you fit over the winter months, and would like to walk/run with us or for us, please contact the Foundation on 9339 6633 or send us an email at foundation@centennialparklands.com.au

Thank you for your support and good luck!
