ES Marks Athletics Field

E.S. Marks Athletics Field is an all-weather, state-of-the-art athletics venue, just 10 minutes from the Sydney CBD.

It’s the perfect place to train and hold carnivals. We also hold open nights for public training from Monday to Thursday from 3.30 pm to 8.30 pm.

About E.S. Marks Athletics Field

Situated in Centennial Parklands, Australia’s largest community sporting precinct, E.S. Marks Athletics Field is the closest athletics training facility to the Sydney CBD and has been important facility to the athletics community for more than 100 years.

The facility features a new 400m synthetic track, main field and covered stand with seating for 1,000 people, and is used by more than 50,000 patrons a year for public training nights (now four nights), school carnivals and more.

Entry to the E.S. Marks Athletics Field is only via Boronia Street, located off Anzac Parade and is well served by public transport.

Schools bookings and carnivals

Applicants for E.S. Marks Athletics Field bookings are required to please fill in our interactive form (download E.S. Marks Athletics Field Application Form). In conjunction with this form please review our Fees and Charges, Terms and Conditions and Regulations.

Please note: Centennial Parklands does not hire athletics equipment. Please contact Athletics NSW on (02) 9746 1122 for equipment once your carnival has been confirmed in writing and full payment and a copy of the public liability insurance has been received.

Seasonal and casual bookings

The E.S. Marks Athletics Field track and field can be booked at an hourly rate outside of these times on a seasonal or casual basis for athletic training.
