Playgrounds
There are a number of playgrounds within Centennial Park, all ideally located close to parking and/or public transport.
These are:
Ash Paddock - This location is ideal for active leisure related shoots with a large open grassed area that is surrounded by trees and ponds.
Learners Cycleway playground - This playground features a barbecue area and large shade trees around its boundary. It is located at the southern edge of Centennial Park. It also has a cycleway for children.
Paddington Gates playground - Paddington Gates playground provides an exciting experience for children 1-12 years with access arrangements and experiences suitable for special needs users including a wheelchair accessible swing.
Café playground - It is ideally located adjacent to the Centennial Parklands Restaurant.
Opening hours
Centennial Park's opening hours are sunrise to sunset all year round.
All vehicles must leave the park before sunset or pay a gate opening fee. Fines may also apply for any vehicles left in the Park overnight.
