In 2001, Parade Grounds was also the venue for the festivities for Federation Day and the Centennial Ceremony.

Numerous large concert events have been staged on the Parade Grounds including Big Bold and Brassy, Bob Dylan, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Santana, Jack Johnson, the Good Vibrations Festival and the V Festival. The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge is also held annually on Parade Grounds. This event incorporates a road race with corporate teams of runners competing for a place in the international series.
