Private Groups

A range of programs and activities are available for private groups. Whether you are part of a community organisation, a historical society or just a group of interested friends and family, Rangers can conduct a private session specifically for you.

For more information on any of these activities, or to make a booking, please contact the Senior Ranger, Education and Interpretation on (02) 9339 6645 or the Ranger, Education and Interpretation on (02) 9339 6641.

Bus Tours

Groups in buses can enjoy a one-hour guided bus tour around Centennial Park. Rangers join you aboard your bus to explain the natural and cultural heritage of the Parklands and highlight current events.

Vacation Care

Unique, outdoor activities for vacation care and OOSH care groups are conducted throughout school holiday periods. A selection of nature based and recreational programs are designed specifically for these larger groups and are priced at a discounted rate. Programs change each school holiday period but may include activities such as Kite Flying, Indigenous Art and Craft, Model Gliders, Bug Hunting, Junior Rangers and Candle Making. To receive regular information on vacation care programs, please send your details to info@cp.nsw.gov.au.

Guided Tours and Workshops

Select from some of our most popular tours and workshops such as Spotlight Prowls, Tree Tours, Birdwatchers Breakfasts, Frog Pond Workshops, Heritage Walks and Floral Design Workshops. Customised tours and workshops can be created for groups with special interests.

Community Outreach Program

The Mobile Ranger Station can visit your school, centre or community event to provide information and displays about Centennial Parklands. Badge making and craft activities are optional extras.

Rangers are also available to provide historical presentations and slide shows about the heritage of Centennial Parklands to groups such as ProBus or Lions.
