Change to parking conditions – Depot Road

As of 18 February 2008, the car park spaces to the rear of the Parade Grounds Café will be converted from “Three-hour parking” to “Authorised parking only”. This change is part of the wider roadworks and safety upgrades occurring in the Centennial Parklands Restaurant precinct.

The Restaurant Precinct is a busy hub within the Parklands - with park visitors, cyclists, dog walkers, cars, delivery vehicles and Trust maintenance vehicles all converging in this area. In order to ensure the public safety of park visitors and Trust staff, modifications are being made to the roadway and parking bays along this strip over the coming months. These works will not only improve visitor and staff safety, but provide a less congested and cleaner environment for all to enjoy.
