Steve Corbett, Director and Chief Executive

Centennial Parklands Director and Chief Executive, Steve Corbett, is responsible for the administration and management of Centennial Parklands. He reports to the Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust.The Trust forms part of the Department of the Arts, Sport and Recreation in the portfolio of the Hon. Graham West, MP, Minister for Sport and Recreation.

Steve was appointed to the position in July 2004. Steve was previously CEO for the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens and has nearly 30 years of industry experience in the management of parks, botanic gardens and open space areas. He has previously held positions at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney and Mount Annan, as well as Sydney Olympic Parklands.

Danyelle Droga, Director Visitor Experience

Danyelle was appointed Director Visitor Experience in September 2006. Danyelle has worked in marketing and venue management for 14 years with organisations such as Fairfax, ACP Publishing, George Patterson Bates, the Australian Museum, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, ING Australia and most recently, Centennial Parklands.

Bruce Cook, Director Business Services

Bruce Cook was appointed to the position of Director Business Services in September 2006. Bruce has previously worked at Energy Australia, Wollongong City Council, National Rail Corporation and Tourism Australia in the fields of business development, planning, finance, marketing and human resources.

Over the last four years he has had business management roles at the RTA in the areas of asset management, project management and environmental services, as well as being seconded as a Review Director to the Council on the Cost and Quality of Government.

Amanda Bock, Director Strategic Planning and Projects

As Director Strategic Planning & Projects at Centennial Parklands, Amanda is responsible for statutory and park planning, major project development and implementation of a $50M capital works program. 

Having started her professional career as an Architect, Amanda has since completed post graduate qualifications in project management and public administration. She has worked in both the public and private sectors as an architect and project manager and gained experience in place management of significant heritage sites as well as being responsible for large commercial construction projects. Amanda has previously worked for the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, Sydney Cove Authority, Sydney City Council and for private project management and architecture consultancies.

Amanda has worked for Centennial Parklands since 2002.

Ian Innes, Director Park Assets

Ian commenced working at Centennial Parklands as Director Park Assets in 2005. Ian studied landscape architecture at the University of Sydney before working for the NSW Department of Public Works on landscape design, construction, and heritage conservation projects involving state owned properties.

During a period based in England in the early 1990s Ian prepared plans of management and development plans for several major historic gardens in England, France and Italy, as well as acting as works supervisor for landscape projects in construction.

After returning to Australia in 1992, Ian was employed in various roles at the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney where he was responsible for plant collections curation and management, landscape design and construction projects, project management, heritage conservation and interpretation. He was the officer responsible for delivering a Landscape Master Plan and Conservation Study for the Domain, a Conservation Management Plan for the botanic gardens, as well as leading procurement and project management for a new shop, restoration and adaptive reuse of an historic residence, and civil works.

There are 65 people on Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust staff.
