Sound Reports for Major Events

The Centennial Park & Moore Park Trust is currently developing a Noise Management Plan in consultation with its regulator – the Department of Environment and Climate Change (DECC) - and the community.

As part of this Plan, the Trust will be required to place sound management reports for major events held in the Parklands on its website. This will entail:

• an initial preliminary report from the acoustic consultants within one week of the event; and
• a more detailed report within five weeks of the event.

This final report will remain online four weeks from the publication date.

The Plan is still in draft phase at present, however the Trust has decided to pre-emptively start the process of publishing of these reports for public viewing.
