Community Consultation
Centennial Parklands is a place of national significance for the enjoyment, social connection and wellbeing of the community. The Parklands attract more than six million visits per year, increasing at a rate of around 150,000 per year.
To cater for increasing demands of population and visitation growth, the Trust has produced a Plan of Management 2006-2016 to guide its management and investment over the next decade. In developing the Plan, the Trust sought input from a wide range of interested stakeholders and carefully considered the many comments received from the community on the draft Plan.
To ensure ongoing community engagement and consultation on a range of projects stemming from the Plan of Management, the Trust works with the Community Consultative Committee and a range of special interest liaison committees (eg. Cyclist Liaison Committee).
Have your say…
The Trust is committed to ensuring regular park visitors have an opportunity to comment on various projects and all current projects available for comment are listed below. If there is no listing it means there are no projects currently open for comment at this time. Please continue to check this page for future opportunities.
