Posted: 27 March 2017

Bump out for a feature film production in Federation Valley, Centennial Park will commence on 27 March 2017 and is expected to take two weeks (weather permitting).

One week of upgrade works to rejuvenate the area will follow, commencing on 10 April 2017. The improvement works are expected to take approximately one week (weather permitting).

To minimise disruption to park visitors, both bump out and upgrade works are scheduled to take place between the hours of 7.00 am - 5.00 pm on weekdays only. If you are planning to visit the Parklands during this period, please take note of the following access changes associated with the bump out and works:

Federation Valley
27 March to 17 April 2017

For safety reasons, temporary fencing will be in place for the duration of the bump out phase and will remain in place for upgrade and improvement works in Federation Valley. Dog walkers can continue to use the rest of the Valley or enjoy other dog off-leash areas in the Parklands such as northern Sandstone Ridge, South West Paddock and Queens Park. You can download our Dog Walking Brochure here to view all dog off-leash areas in the Parklands. Please ensure dogs are kept under effective control during this time.

Loch Avenue North
27 March to 17 April 2017
There will be some truck and vehicle movements on Loch Avenue North (between the intersection of Loch Avenue North and Robinson Drive to Grand Drive) on weekdays. Traffic management will be in place, and where necessary, traffic may be redirected to Robinson Drive.

All public utilities in Federation Valley, including amenities and taps will remain accessible for the duration of the bump out and upgrade works.

Signage will be in place to safely guide park visitors around the site.
