NSW State Plan
In November 2006, the State Government released the NSW State Plan: A New Direction for NSW.
The Plan sets out the goals the NSW community has requested the State Government to work towards.
It also identifies specific, measurable priorities for government action to achieve these goals over a 10-year period.
A key theme of the State Plan is Environment for Living and the NSW Department of the Arts, Sport and Recreation has been nominated as the lead agency for one of the Plan’s major priorities:
“E8 – More people using parks, sporting and recreational facilities, and participating in the arts and cultural activity”.
The Trust has endeavoured to align its goals, priorities and strategies with the NSW State Plan.
